The Neverending Story, the musical, is inspired by the renowned novel by Michael Ende, considered one of the masterpieces of fantasy literature, and is capable of immersing the audience in the magical Kingdom of Fantasia, where unforgettable characters such as Falkor, the majestic white luck dragon, Artax, the noble horse, and the imposing Rockbiter, among others, come to life.

This superproduction marks a milestone in Spanish theater, pioneering the use of animatronics, a technique until now reserved exclusively for cinema. Thanks to this innovation, the fantastical creatures achieve an unprecedented level of realism, offering spectators a unique visual and emotional experience. Among the 16 songs that make up its soundtrack is the iconic theme “Never Ending Story.”

To design Falkor, the white luck dragon, more than 50 meters of specially made plush fabric were required. This is a creature that weighs 600 kilograms and, like the rest of the creatures that inhabit the Kingdom of Fantasia—Racing Snail, the horse Artax, the ancient turtle Morla, and the Rockbiter—took over three months of work by a team of 30 people.

The musical is produced by beon. Entertainment, the Andalusian production company based in Seville, known for successful original titles such as The Physician, the Musical; The Time Between Seams, the Musical; and The Pillars of the Earth, the Musical.

Duration: 2 hours and 30 minutes (including intermission)
